So I do not know about y’all, but when I think of the beach, I immediately go into the “ahhhh relaxing time.” Unfortunately, there is a lot of items to pack out there especially for the little ones going. I know all about that being a mom to two little ones and we love going to the beach every summer. Being properly packed will ultimately help you have a stress free fun beach day.

1. Sunglasses for everyone!
Sunglasses are obvious a necessary item to have especially at the beach or pool. For the little ones who are old enough polarized sunglasses are very helpful to keep that bright sun out of their little eyes. And they look so darn cute in them. Below is an example of my baby wearing them.
2. SUNSCREEN
Now this is a very important need for the beach or pool this summer. I would recommend 30SPF that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. For the little ones I like to use 50SPF or higher if I can find for their sensitive little skin. The kit does include lip balm, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
3. Umbrella
This may be something you don’t want to use, but for me personally I loved having an umbrella for the shade. It kept the cooler out of the sun and just kept everyone cooler from the sun. I also loved using a little tent for my baby and it also has a built in pool are for them to sit and splash in (below).
4. Baby Powder and Sand Remover Pad
After a fun filled day at the beach there is nothing more aggravating at times is removing all that sand…from EVERYWHERE!! I recommend using baby powder to help remove that pesky sand from your body or using a sand remover pad.
5. Hats
Any type hat is perfect for the beach. I just say wear one especially the little ones. Since I have a lot of hair and would wear it in a bun, the below hat is a must need for my bun girlies.
6. Water Resistant Speaker
Of course lying down at the beach listening to the waves is relaxing, but I also love listening to music while I am relaxing at the beach or the pool. I definitely would recommend a water resistant speaker.
7. A Good Read (Book)
What else to do a nice fun lazy relaxing day at the beach…READING. Just make sure if you bring the kiddos, there is someone there to keep a good eye out for them.
8. Beach Wagon
I have gone many years without using a beach wagon and I always asked myself, “Why am I carrying all this stuff?” I finally broke down got a wagon for the beach and let me tell you, it’s the best thing. Carrying everything at once is so much each. And even better park it under the umbrella and boom a sleep cot for the baby or toddler. Win Win for me.
9. Beach Bag
A good beach bag is a must to carry all those essentials, such as lotion, lip balm, and sunscreen pretty much everything, like an everyday purse. I recommend a water proof bag and the below is perfect which is water proof and has holes in for the removal of sand.
10. Beach Sandals
The beach can definitely get pretty hot out there, I recommend a good water proof pair.
